D-Lish at Disney World

D-Lish is a new food-themed line that dropped at Disney World earlier this year. From what I’ve seen, our sister-Disney-Asia parks have had a huge influence on this coming our way (their merch is INSAAANE!).

I adore this line and would love to see more of it.

You can find it all over the parks, but this particular set-up is inside Bay View Gifts at the Contemporary–one of my FAVORITE places to shop at the Resorts!

Scenes From the Grand Floridian

Disney’s Grand Floridian is in the Deluxe Category of Hotels on property, and right on the monorail line—walking distance to Magic Kingdom.

We had SUCH a magical stay here. Especially for a short trip, this was perfect as we were a monorail ride away from both Magic Kingdom and Epcot. We loved the dining, the amenities, and the incredible views!

The rooms are large and offer two queens and a sofa that really seems extra wide. It flips over for a perfect 5th bed/daybed type of thing. Lovely shower minis of course, and comfy beds and pillows!

Snow White’s Storybook Dining

This is a fairly new experience to the Walt Disney World Dining Selection. A revamped Artist’s Point, at Wilderness Lodge, is the PERFECT setting to meet Snow White and friends! Laura and I will be visiting here for a further review, in just a few days, and we can’t wait to share more with you!

Here, your apps and desserts are pre-selected for you, so if you have a special dietary need, be sure to communicate this when you make your reservation. (As always, we can help with this!)

I was particularly impressed with the Kid’s Menus. Check out this fabulous spread Clare got as an appetizer! And that jar in her hand?? It’s a CHURN YOUR OWN BUTTER. So amazing! The details are unreal.

Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy make their grand entrance to the meals, with music and fanfare. This character interaction was AMAZING. They spent a lot of time at our table and were really on point. In particular, Grumpy was pretty ‘grumpy’ about having to use a pink pen to sign Clare’s autograph book, ha ha ha!

After dinner, you have the opportunity to meet the Evil Queen. She is HILARIOUS and both evil and queen to a T. You have to do this, y’all!

I highly recommend this experience. It’s very unique and as mentioned–the details are incredible. Down to the menus, the table set up, the characters–you will love it! And don’t forget, if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan or Deluxe Dining Plan, take advantage of that included specialty drink! I loved the “Enchanted Apple”!

Cinderella’s Royal Table: A Perfect Place for a Birthday!

Over my daughter’s 4th birthday, we chose to celebrate at none other than Cinderella’s Royal Table!

We had been here a few times before, but hadn’t taken advantage of some of the special amenities you can pre-order (ask us about this!).

First, we stopped in the main lobby for a picture with the lady of the hour: Cinderella!

Then we headed upstairs, when our name was called, to the GORGEOUS restaurant!

We had a blast, dining and chatting, and our waiter was absolutely top-notch. We have experienced some of the best service in the park here. Just wonderful!

We ordered a few special things for the birthday girl: a tiara, and a special chocolate slipper for dessert. Both were a huge hit and she felt SO celebrated as the entire house sang to her!

Of course we saw lots of princesses which made this a fabulous start to our day.

Cinderella’s Royal Table can be booked online (via desktop, not the App) or by calling the Dining Line. This is something we can take care of for you, so the stress is off your plate! CRT is also 2 credits on the Disney Dining Plan or Deluxe Dining Plan.
